Objective :

The objective of Training & Placement Department is to equip students with globally employable skills through training and to help them attain their desired employment and career goals.

Functions:

• To be the mentor of students to frame their careers.
• To enable placements for all students participating in the process.
• To maintain strong relationships with recruiters and corporate bodies.
• To strive and enhance the number of companies visiting PEC, to recruit in campus.
• To increase the number of offers from recruiting companies.
• To manage a streamlined Placement process, taking care of the interests of students, recruiters and the College.

The Cell is devoted to cater to the needs of the organizations in conducting campus interviews for placements. Interactions with organizations are regularly done for placement requirements. Placement cell also conducts career guidance workshops to the final and pre- final year students to face their future with confidence.

Career guidance programs, reasoning tests, aptitude tests, puzzle solving, group discussions, mock interviews, brain storming sessions, case studies, pick and speak, experience sharing and mini presentations etc., are organized on a regular basis. In addition to it several HRD training programs are interspersed with the above-mentioned activities. These sessions help contribute towards the holistic development of the students and makes them job ready.

The Training and Placement Cell organizes a number of training programs for the students of all semesters with the help of in-house experts and resource personnel drawn from professional agencies. The activities have proved exceptionally useful in shaping the careers of students.

Jawahar Knowledge Center (JKC) in our college from the year 2006 through Institute of Electronic Governance, Hyderabad governing body of Andhra Pradesh. Many years, our students got selected in different reputed companies.JKC is training students in various concepts like aptitude, communication skills, and Interview skills

Associated with APSSDC, a unique organization formed as a public–private partnership (PPP) corporation to promote skill-development & entrepreneurship in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Corporation now serves as the ‘Executive Agency’ for the newly formed Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
